Now more than ever, work-life balance is very important to us. We all have those tasks we dislike and put off. Trying to juggle a business and personal life as a business owner is not easy.
I have always worked with people and this is why my customer service is outstanding. As a hairdresser by trade, I have worked in the hairdressing industry for over 27 years.
From working in a salon to educating the future hairdressers of today, I have experience as a hands-on hairdresser, NVQ Trainer, Internal Verifier, and since 2008, a full-time salon owner. I know what it takes to work as a stylist and run a salon from the daily bookkeeping to email management and constant business duties that always seem to pop up when the salon is busy.
My skills are not just behind the chair. I have strong admin skills gained from working in education as an assessor and verifier, as well as office positions with the likes of the MOD……, and let’s not forget the valuable experience from running my own salon which I still do this day.
